These questions all point to processes that are inefficient and costing needless time and money. It is important to understand the value added at each step in order fulfillment, product design, decision-making and all other processes in an organization. Yet, often the entire information flow through the system is unknown. People in the flow only know what they have to do and to whom to pass the results.
